The new venue: Roberts Conference Centre - Eukanuba Hall, Wilmington, Ohio
We have several new activities planned for this year! Here's whats happening:
Thursday, May 9, from 4-7 pm we will be holding our first GREET and GROOM. - This
get together is for everyone, with or without a dog! For many of us, it's been a
year since we've seen our friends, and hopefully there will be "first-timers" that
need introductions, so here's are chance to catch up. No names mentioned, but there
will be some pretty experienced wire groomers helping out. Dogs can be entered in
the show or not entered. We will be available to help anyone, newcomers or beginners,
that want to learn how to clipper their dogs if they aren't show dogs, or not being
stripped. Instruction will be informal. Snacks and drinks provided. *We've been
asked to keep the dogs off the blue carpeted area* This function will be held in
the grooming area behind Eukanuba Hall.
Friday, May 10, 10:30 am to 3 pm: Canine Reproduction and Neonatology by Kitt Kampschmidt,
DVM. This seminar will be held ringside. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Kampschmidt
speak to the club. These seminars are few and far between, and it's not uncommon
to pay $50 - $100 to attend reproduction seminars. Personally commend, and want
to thank the WFTCCS for providing this seminar to the club, at no charge for attendees!
So don't miss this one! Please show our support to Dr. Kampschmidt and our club.
Friday, May 10
4-5 pm: Futurity and Veteran Sweepstakes and Champagne Toast. Dinner on your own
after this.
Friday, May 10, 7-8 pm: Obedience and Rally Match, followed by the Welcoming Event
in the Hotel Suite Parlor until 10 pmm
Saturday, May 11, 8am: Breakfast (donuts, fruit, coffee) in Eukanuba Hall
8:30 am: New exhibitor briefing at the show ring
9 am: Sweepstakes Judging, followed by the Annual Meeting
Lunch: on your own
1:00 pm: Judging begins- 4-6 month puppy, Junior Showmanship, Regular Classes
7 pm: Cash bar, opportunity to browse the auction and raffle items
8 pm: Dinner, raffle and auction
10 pm: Hospitality Suite Parlor
