Q and I went to Central States with high expectations. We had been training since the beginning of January with Novice Rally classes. Q did qualify and got 2 Novice Rally legs at Central States. He needs 1 more leg for a title. Next we were entered in Novice Trick Dog. We needed to know 10 tricks. I had an extra trick in my pocket, just in case. He did them all! After Novice Trick Dog we did our Canine Good Citizen test. He passed that too with flying colors. I was so proud of Q. We are coming together as a team.

Now we needed 1 more leg to get our Novice Rally Title We got it at our next show June 15 with a score of 96. At my trainer’s insistence we bumped up to Intermediate at this show. I got the course print out and was practicing in the parking lot. I walked the course. I watched the first dog in my class and I knew I was doing the first sign wrong. My trainer was there so we did a quickie practice in the parking lot. I went in the ring figuring it was a practice if nothing else. We came in second in our class with a score of 96. My trainer thought Inwas going to have a heart attack! We were the only dog first time in Intermediate This was the moment I knew that Q was working for me. For all of you doing performance you know the feeling when you and your dog are a team. Fantastic

CH High Mtn One Point Two One Gigawatts RN RI SIN SCN SBN SEN SWN RATI RATN CGC TKN IQ   Pebbles finished her Rally Intermediate title with a 1st place April, 2019.  She earned her Scent Interior Novice, Scent Container Novice and Scent Buried Novice titles in short order and got her final leg in Scent Exterior Novice August, 2019 to earn her Scent Work Novice title.   She has a head start on her Scent Work Advance title with legs in Interior, Buried and Containers.  Pebbles is either on task or checking for all the critters that may have passed through the search area. Sooo, she has an equal shot at 1st place or last place!  We plan to continue nose work, rally and obedience and try to fit in FASTCAT, agility and earthdog and whatever else Pebbles thinks might be fun.    Thank you Carrie and Richard Snavely for breeding her and allowing us to share our lives with the best, most fun, smooth fox ever.

Hiwire Winking at Life UD RE TD MACH RATS TKA

Wink is my 5th and probably last Wire Fox Terrier because they just don’t get any better than this little dog.  Even as a puppy, Wink has always been well-behaved, loveable, and biddable.   Wink’s performance titles are a testament to her versatility and desire to work with me.  Her favorite thing is to be by my side.  In all honesty, Wink doesn’t need to be doing much of anything.  Snuggled as close as she can get is good enough.  My wish for every Wire owner is that they can have a once-in-a-lifetime dog like my Wink.

Erik is a joy to partner with and my life revolves around making him happy.  He is so willing to play all the silly human games I present him with as it is just a series of tricks in his mind.  Erik just turned 3 and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for us.  Thank you Bill & Kathy Voss for entrusting this gorgeous dog with  an equally wonderful temperament with me.

CH High Mountain Duece’s Wild BN RN RA SCN NA NAJ NAP IQ JE RATN CGC TKN.  Teacup-TBAD TIAD TG1 TG2.  Duece earned his AKC Scent Container Novice title June, 2019 at the grand old age of 14 years 3.6 months.  He loves doing Scent Work Interiors and Containers; Exteriors, Vehicles and Buried, not so much. His alert in containers is giving it a little push with his nose.  When my handling skills are a little slow, he gives it a shove!   We just might have a go at those 2 legs needed in Interior. Thank you Carrie and Richard Snavely for the Dueceman!
